| Description | I need to move several pieces of furniture from Preston Pointe (1995 NW Cary Pkwy, Morrisville) to Carolina Reserve of Durham (4523 Hope Valley Rd, Durham) the morning of Tuesday, June 16. (According to Google Maps, the distance between these locations is 16.2 miles for the shortest, fastest route.) Ideally everything would be in position at the destination room by 10:45AM Tuesday. The following are the items to be moved. All dimensions length × width × height as best I could measure, but I have no way to measure weight. two wooden bookcases: 30" × 10" × 41.5" each; at destination, these are to be stacked vertically one wooden dresser: 34" × 18" × 46.5" one recliner (dimensions when upright): 37" × 40" × 40" one desk: 59.5" × 29.5" × 30.5" bed (and mattress set): 80" × 55.5" × 30", with height measured to top of headboard I will need moving blankets. Though I have one hand truck, I cannot guarantee it is suitable for this job. I do not have a truck, either, so I will need you to provide one large enough to carry everything, perhaps in multiple trips. The move-out location has an elevator, and the move-in location is one floor only. Each building is air-conditioned, both in the rooms and the hallways. The destination is an assisted living facility, so please be especially careful around its residents. |
