Description |
I'm looking for a responsible, female with their own car to assist with driving my 44-year-old sister, who has developmental disabilities, to her appointments around Chapel Hill. She is very high-functioning and incredibly sweet. This role does not require any physical or medical assistance—she’s completely independent at her appointments and just needs reliable transportation. We can start with a one-hour trial errand.
Her appointments are regular and predictable, making this an easy-to-schedule job that can be coordinated via text or email. There is usually a set time for pickup, so once you drop her off (e.g., at church choir practice), you’re free to run errands in between. For shorter appointments, like a waxing appointment, you’ll wait until she’s finished and then return her back to her group home. It’s rare for her to have multiple appointments stacked.
She lives in a group home in Chapel Hill with other IDD females and is naturally shy, but she warms up over time and is a great texter for coordination. I will be available via text for any problems.

- Access to a reliable car and a responsible, safe driver.
