I may need a quick move for a sofa from someone moving out by 11.30 TODAY in Durham, to go to a house in Raleigh - and maybe a truck if available. Its a couch, not a sleeper, not especially heavy but normal couch awkward and weight. Apparently about 7 steps out of the apartment and 7 down at the place it is coming out of - don't know what that means yet, going to run look at it in a sec, so may cancel everything if its a mess - but the place in Raleigh has about five steps up into the house. It is a take-out and load on one end, and unload on the other, the one item, so maybe 15 minutes each end. (From past experience, this may mean a Durham crew and a Raleigh crew. If same crew probably an hour, or a bit more to get back. If different crews, its probably about fifteen minutes each location. If the Sweepers have a pickup a normal sofa can fit into - seller says it is about 77 inches long - that is great. (It is in an apartment at Duke Manor, 311 S LaSalle St, Durham NC 27705, near Duke Hospital, and it is going to 3609 Bellevue Rd in Raleigh.) |
