Hi! I am currently a social work graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work. My interests range from sexual health awareness and education to knitting and hanging out with my cats!
-As a child, I was entirely responsible for cleaning the house. Additionally, I got a lot of experience cleaning windows and cutting hedges!
-As a part of Amnesty International, I hosted large community events ranging from music festivals to community forums. I also currently work for a research group whose primary efforts is to improve community engagement around HIV cure. We host syphers, focus groups, plan events with nearby community organizations like the LGBTQ center of Durham, and Women's Empowerment Expo.
-Though I cannot really mow, I am an avid gardener. Currently I'm germinating everything from chamomile to lemon balm. I am a capable gardener who is quite good at cutting hedges as well.
As a child, I was also responsible for organizing the majority of our familial possessions. In high school I won the superlative "most clean"--I've always taken that as a complement!
-Audio/visual transcriber. I have a lot of experience with transcribing documents at my research positions. I am also proficient at Excel, Access, and an expert at MAXQDA.

Sam did a great job organizing, packing, and labeling, and even when I started to burn out she was still going. I especially appreciated her initiative - I basically pointed her at a room and she took it as far as she could, then asked some important questions about how to wrap things up.
