| Description | The Town of Chapel Hill no longer collects yard "waste" from our curbs due to the Covid-19 situation. I have a pile of branches on my curb that need to be removed. They are literally just branches, but there are a good number. The "pile" is about 8 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. Of course, it can be broken up, etc. I need them removed and because there is nothing but tree branches, you can place them in any proper place, from Orange County Waste and Recycling Centers to a dumpster to a forest (it's branches). Wherever it is appropriate and proper. (Your vehicle will need to be a pickup or have a trailer to hold the branches.) This can be done anytime on any day that is good for you. |
