Hello, my name is Jonathan Dean and I am in my final semester at North Carolina State University pursuing a degree in civil engineering. I am from western North Carolina, and love hiking, biking and just enjoying the mountains. After taking some time away from sweeps to participate in various internships, I am returning to be able to maintain a flexible schedule in a busy final semester. My most experience for sweeps related jobs is in yard work and moving but I am happy to help and will work hard anywhere I am needed.
Through knowing people in my hometown, who do similar odd jobs such as sweeps does, I have helped clear houses, load moving trucks and move belongings from homes to storage units. Also through people from my home church, I would help members move from home to home, and help store belongings.
I worked at as part of the Young Life Work Crew staff. Young Life camps thrive on providing the best experience for campers, which lead to the work crew cleaning the entire camp three times a week. This could include anything from sweeping, cleaning cobwebs from a building, vacuuming, washing windows, picking weeds and spreading mulch. Also once a week I helped clean guest cabins, by doing laundry, making beds and mopping/sweeping/vacuuming floors.
Through working at Wilderness Ranch, A Younglife Camp, I was responsible for setting up club activities for campers. This included making lyric power points, setting up the stage for performances, and planning and performing skits.
For the past five years I have done mowing and weed-eating jobs throughout my neighborhood. These were not through a company, just through my own advertising. I completed all yards individually to the best of my ability. Upon completion I would ask the home owner and make sure it was completed to their satisfaction.
In high school I tutored lower level math classes such as algebra and geometry. I feel very comfortable being able to tutor lower level math classes.
I have lots of experience painting houses, decks as well as interior home rooms. While working on work crew at Wilderness Ranch, A Younglife Camp, we were responsible for painting and priming a new guest cabin.
