Johanna was one of two sweepers who disassembled, moved, and reassembled the frame for a long-arm quilting machine that would not fit through a door otherwise. I provided printed copies of the manufacturer's assembly documents, about 150 pages total. I also provided a rough outline of the disassembly steps and was available to deal with questions. The process was very complex and ultimately required 10 hours. Because the process was sequential, and included some learning curve, adding more sweepers would not have reduced the overall time. Johanna has an engineering background and experience with complex assemblies, so she worked as the lead. Her strength and analytical skills were essential to the project's success.
