I am a member of the pre-vet club at UNC Chapel Hill and I conduct research in the Biology department. I previously have been a teaching assistant, a tutor, and a mentor for the university.

Moving

My work experience in veterinary hospitals has required caring equipent, boxes, supplies, and large animals around the hospital. I am physically fit and able to carry heavy objects.

Cleaning

I have been working in veterinary hospitals for 5 years that have required a strong janitorial component, such as vacuuming and mopping the hospital, cleaning cages, taking out trash, scooping the yard, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning the bathrooms. I have a lot of experience cleaning large areas efficiently within a given time frame.

Events

I am very organized, efficient, and used to interacting with and leading others. As a member of the pre-vet club I often help plan events for the club to go on trips and hold fundraisers to raise money. I also believe my teaching experience has improved my organization and leadership skills immensely and would allow me to plan events efficiently.

Yard Work

I am physically fit and capable of doing yard work. I often help my neighbors over the summer to plant flowers, rake the yard, mow the lawn and organize the shed.

Organizing

My role as a teaching assistant for the geology department consisted of organizing fossils for the building, organizing my professors office, and organizing material for my laboratory course each week.

Tutoring

I was a tutor for the UNC Chapel Hill Learning Center for 2 semesters tutoring general, analytical, and organic chemistry and cellular and developmental biology. I also was an organic chemistry mentor for the Chemistry department at UNC and a teaching assistant in the Geology department for two semesters.

Odd Jobs

I have extensive experience working with animals and children. My work experiences have provided me with great communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
