I'm a sophomore undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel hill, where I am pursuing a degree in Economics. I live in Chapel Hill and am excited to be using this service to help those in the community around me.
I have years of experience helping family members, friends, neighbors, and others move many times. I understand the hard work and time commitment that it takes to complete these type of jobs.
I have years of experience cleaning in a variety of contexts for family members and friends.
I have assisted in the preparation and execution of events for many years. While I was a volunteer at the Natural Science Center in Greensboro, I set up for many family oriented events at the zoo and other departments. While fulfilling my service hours for Creative, Active, Service (CAS) club in high school, I set up for bbqs, sporting events, races, and other charity events.
I have years of experience working in outdoor environments, specifically dealing with yard work. I have planted seeds, mowed lawns, collected sticks, spread mulch/hay, power washed houses and driveways, trimmed shrubs, cut down trees, etc and can quickly learn new skills. I have done these tasks mainly for friends and family.
Working as an intern at the alumni association for UNC has given me an opportunity to develop my organization skills in a professional environment. On a day to day basis, organization is a tool that facilitates my activities and school work.
I have tutored other students for many years going back to middle school. Once I started high school, I began to more regularly tutor peers in subjects such as math, science, history, and latin.
I have painted in a variety of situations for many years. My experience includes my work with Habitat for Humanity in Orange County, where I painted the interior of multiple houses, to mission trips through Catholic Heart Work Camp, where I worked with a team to repaint the exterior of an old barn.
I am knowledgable in situations involving basic computer and Tv problems.

Ben was terrific! Despite the cold and his short pants, he was able to cull and clean out my many garden pots and all of the weeds around them.. Now I can plant some other flowers in them.
