I am a rising senior at Campbell University majoring in psychology with a minor in history. I find social and behavioral psychology the most interesting and am thinking about studying to become a child behavioral psychologist. I am passionate about children with disorders such as conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, along with Asperger's and autism. I find it very interesting that behavioral psychology can actually help a child's quality of life and the way they get along with others. I plan to earn my masters degree after I graduate Campbell.
My family moved to a different town and I helped them move. My grandparents moved with me so there was a lot to move. I have packed many boxes and loaded and unloaded them from the old house, to a storage unit, to the new house. I helped moved furniture as well and have some experience using dollys.
I cleaned my grandmother's house last summer before she moved so it had to be extremely clean. I dusted her huge house, I also cleaned the floors on my hands and knees. I washed the baseboards and walls and vacuumed all the carpets. I cleaned counter tops and moved furniture to get to every spot that needed cleaning.
I have helped work a 5K run in the past. I volunteered and gave out water and other drinks to the participants and directed them where to go. I have also planned and hosted a bridal shower where I had to set up food tables and plan games. I decorated the venue and also helped decorate and set up the wedding venue.
I enjoy yard work and like to help my mom garden. I have helped her grow various vegetables and flowers over the years and have hoed and dug up the dirt many times. I also have a lot of experience raking leaves as my house was set directly in front of woods. I have mowed lawns as well.
I am a very organized person in general. I have no formal experience organizing but my room and desk are usually pretty organized and clutter-free.
I work as a writing coach in the writing center at my school and help students with their papers. I read over the papers and revise and edit with them.
I love to paint and have painted several rooms in my house as well as completed several projects involving painting. I have used brushed, rollers, and have cut in around the edges.
Kyndra and Nicole worked hard without any supervision. They completed the garage organizing and cleaning job quickly and efficiently; they also moved a heavy plant inside which was not part of the job description. I like that they were willing to do the extra thing to help. Thank you for doing a nice job!
Nichole was super. She was a wonderful hostess, greeter, and cook. Did a great job on clean up also. So glad I was able to have her help me with my party.
