I love working outside, meeting people and solving problems. I'm passionate about helping those that need assistance whichever way I can, and hope to work in international NGO consulting one day.
I have been working with Bellhops, another college-moving company for the past two years. I have extensive experience moving people in and out of their homes in a safe, efficient manner.
I'll wash, scrub, tidy, and pick up anything that needs cleaning!
I have professional experience setting up and breaking down for weddings, festivals, and marketing events.
Over the years I've worked in a number of community and personal gardens, such as the HOPE garden in Chapel Hill. Additionally, two years ago I worked at Camp Lake Erie mowing lawns, weed-whacking, and helping out with general outdoor landscaping and maintenance.
Throughout my time at Bellhops and Move Loot I have learned the best methods of item allocation and management. I am able to help customers see what they need organizing and break it down into easy steps.
For three years I have tutored with the AVID program at Culbreth Middle School. I tutor 6th-8th graders in all subjects from Science & Math to Language Arts and Social Studies. I am able to meet individually with students from all backgrounds and am very good at empathizing with the students' perspectives and abilities.
I enjoy indoor and exterior painting and have experience helping customers how to decorate their spaces.
I'll troubleshoot any problems you may have in order to get the customers' life back on track.
I have been an amateur freelance photographer since 2011 and have covered events ranging from campus athletics to concerts.
Jacob arrived on time and worked very efficiently. He and Andrew looked over another job we need done for the elderly homeowner and will be contacting soon. A pleasure to work with!
